Alberto Roblest

Artista multimedia, escritor, profesor y cofundador de la organización Hola Cultura en Washington DC. Como profesor universitario ha enseñado en las universidades: George Washington University, Catholic University of America; Emerson College, Massachusetts Bay Community College y Fisher Coller, entre otras universidades en los Estados Unidos, así como en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Autor del libro de cuentos: Instantáneas Norteamericanas y la novela “Collar de Orejas”. Y de los libros de poesía: De la Ciudad y otras pequeñeces, Chicaneando, Del Silencio en las Ciudades, Ortografía para piromaniacos y De Entre los Signos el Diminutivo. Así como de las plaquetas: Las Andanzas del Huy Huy Huy y el Chichicaxtle con su Ñero, y El Futuro y los Anillos. Como artista digital es autor de las compilaciones de video: La muerte de lo Analógico y El Arte de Existir que reúnen algo como 50 videos de arte. Así como instalaciones y piezas digitales que han sido expuestos en diferentes museos, galerías y festivales. El 2021 publicó un libro de cuentos en inglés y este año ya está en español su obra Against the Wall – Contra la muralla, por la editorial Arte Público Press.

As well as platelets: The Adventures of Huy Huy Huy and Chichicaxtle with his Nero, and The Future and the Rings. As a digital artist he is the author of the video compilations: The Death of the Analogue and The Art of Existing, which bring together something like 50 art videos. As well as installations and digital pieces that have been exhibited in different museums, galleries and festivals. In 2021 he published a book of short stories in English and this year his work Against the Wall is already in Spanish, Contra la muralla, by the publishing house Arte Público Press
