Twenty-four poets meet for the first time in this bilingual epic anthology. Vital poems, in a continuous river full of strength, that dare to dream other forms of life. Epic because we need new imagery overtaking the old hero. Epic because it is necessary to extol alternative realities to the versions of postmodernity. Epic because we recognize the place of subjectivity without forgetting the totality. Epic because it is the first container of poetry. In short, epic, because we want to build a common cabin.

The work that we present with its bilingual and sometimes trilingual nature, would not have been possible without the participation of a large group of translators. Translators can be divided into two groups: The Ohio University Translation Club Group led by Dr. Maria Postigo in Athens Ohio, and on the other hand, freelance translators. The participant translators from Ohio University Translation Club include: graduate students Margaret Saine (U.S.), Carolina Bonansea (Argentina), Ramón Martínez (Puerto Rico), Isaiah O’Bryon (U.S.), undergraduate student Paige Comstock and Ohio University Translation Club advisor Dr. María Postigo (Spain). The independent translators were: María Elena Blanco, Jeffrey Clayton, Fabienne Delprat, Miguel Falquez-Certain, Carli Henman, David Lawrence, Elmira Louie, Hannah Grace Morrison, Jim Nally, Gaura Radar, Jenniffer Ratbun, Ever Rodríguez Stacey Ross and Carrie Summerford.
